COMMUNITY MURAL

Let’s bring your vision for Riverside’s future to life!

The City of Riverside is partnering with Project S.N.A.P. to create a community mural made from the artworks of community members in all seven wards! This mural will reflect the community's collective vision for the future and serve as a visual reminder that the 2050 General Plan was made by the community!

You don't have to be an artist or a kid - this mural is for all abilities, families and ages!

Participation is easy! There are three simple steps:

  1. Grab an artwork entry form and instruction sheet at any community event. You can also pick up a form at any of the locations listed below or click here to download and print a form.

  2. Create your beautiful artwork on the blank side of the form in horizontal/landscape format. Follow the prompts to help connect your vision to Riverside’s growth and sustainability. You can include a drawing, a message, or a design of your choice. Be sure to use markers with vibrant colors!

  3. Write a statement on the other side of the form to explain your artwork. All artist’s statements will be analyzed and used to develop a collective vision for the City’s General Plan. The vision will serve as the foundation of the General Plan, to ensure it is grounded in community values and interests.
